Course Description
This course covers the chemical properties of biomolecular constituents of living cells, including carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids and their biochemical reactions. The emphasis is on the intermediary metabolism and biologically important reactions of carbohydrates and lipids. Prerequisite: 1420217.
