Course Description

This course provides students with advanced knowledge about biochemical processes in plants, including photosynthesis (light reaction and dark reaction), monosaccharides, disaccharides and polysaccharides biosynthesis and storage, nitrogen fixation and sulfur metabolism, lipid synthesis, and storage, biosynthesis of flavonoids, antimicrobial peptides, peptide hormones, vitamins, and fibers. Prerequisite: 1420361.
