UndergraduateDeep Learning
Course Description
Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that focuses on extracting complicated, hierarchical feature representations from the unstructured data. In this course, students will be familiarized with the core ideas, underlying mathematics, and implementation details of the deep learning models, and they will also study the ideas and techniques through which they can optimize the highly parameterized models, as well as the components, such as, linear, convolutional, and pooling layers, activation functions, etc., that makes up the deep learning architectures. Furthermore, this course will familiarize students in building simple to complex convolutional neural networks for classification, regression, detection and segmentation tasks using well-known deep learning libraries, PyTorch and TensorFlow. Students will also explore
