Course Description
Natural language processing (NLP) is a sub-branch of Artificial Intelligence that has broad applications in the humanities, social sciences, and hard sciences. The ability to automatically harness linguistic and textual data is a highly valuable skills to gain employment in academia, governmental organizations, and in corporate sector. The goal of this course is to provide a theoretical and methodological introduction to the most popular and successful current approaches, tactics, and toolkits for natural language processing, with a particular emphasis on those made possible through the use of deep learning-driven language models implemented using PyTorch and TensorFlow libraries.
