Course Description

This course introduces the physics, instrumentation, diagnostic methods of the different imaging modalities including X-ray computed tomography, nuclear medicine (SPECT/PET), and ultrasound imaging,. Image reconstruction and processing techniques of the above mentioned modalities are also introduced. BME 399i - Internship in Biomedical Engineering I
