No ratings yet
Course Description
To introduce and apply basic and advanced concepts of physical and chemical unit operations and processes commonly used in water and wastewater treatment. This involves introduction to the properties associated with water and wastewater such as alkalinity, turbidity, total solids, pH, hardness and estimation methods. Apply applied physics, chemistry, hydraulics and mathematics concepts to understand how physical unit operations and chemical unit processes work so that the learned concepts can be applied for the design of water treatment operations/processes.
