Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of ethical hacking methodology, practical techniques and ethics. The main focus of the course is to introduce students to the methodology and tools necessary in order to assess the security posture of the system under study. The course utilizes Kali- Linux and many other software tools that are usually used by a malicious hacker to study the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of a target systems. In this course the students study the main phases of ethical hacking, the phases include reconnaissance, gaining access, enumeration, maintaining access, and covering the tracks. I
