Course Description

This course provides an introductory general overview of electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, and computer engineering, AI and robotics engineering fields. The course aims to introduce students to: these fields as professions, IEEE codes of ethics, engineering design concepts, project management, challenges in teamwork, laboratory health and safety procedures, data analysis and report writing. The course also introduces software tools used in later courses. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have a good foundation of knowledge which helps them in their later courses.
