Course Description

EMSAT score of below 1400 This course provides instruction and practice in university level academic writing skills. It enhances the students’ skills in writing standard academic paragraphs with clear topic sentences, supporting ideas, and details. It also develops their ability to write essays with clear thesis statements, supporting/body paragraphs, and conclusions. The course not only strengthens and highlights the students’ proficiency in grammar and sentence structure but also builds on their ability to present information orally.
