Course Description
aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic approaches to financial statement analysis. The course covers the analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of financial statements. Financial statement analysis (FSA) is an applied tool, one must be able to apply as well as understand it. FSA involves a comparison of a firm’s performance with that of others in the same line of business. The analysis is used to determine the financial position in order to identify current strengths and weaknesses, the projected profile and to suggest actions that might enable the enterprise to take advantages of its strengths and to put remedies in place to attend to its problems.
