Course Description

This course examines human resource management from a strategic perspective and focuses on how the Balanced Scorecard approach can be implemented as a strategic tool for improving sustainable performance of companies of different size across various industries in the UAE and the region. The first part of this course teaches students how to use the tool to align the organization to its stated intent and translate the tool into operational objectives. The second part of this course teaches students how to unite employees through a strategic performance enhancement program implemented with the help of Balanced Scorecards. A particular emphasis is placed on management approaches and techniques for implementing Balanced Scorecards for sustainable performance in organizations in the UAE and the region.
