Course Description

course aims to develop an understanding of the principles of 3D printing and additive manufacturing processes; including the materials used, CAD/CAE/ modelling and path planning for additive manufacturing processes. Students will have an opportunity to design and fabricate using 3D printing machines. The course also discusses the applications of Additive Manufacturing in many technical domains such as biomedical, aerospace, biotechnology industries.
