Course Description
In this course, students will learn a number of topics related to digital video postproduction, including editing, sound design, compositing, color correction, and 2D/3D animated motion graphics. This course will also teach students the basic functions and principles of editing, and develop their video editing skills in practical editing assignments. Through lectures, demonstrations, exercises and projects students build a solid technical and aesthetic foundation in digital post-production. Video footage is provided for all exercises and projects. However, students are given the option to shoot new material for their final project if desired. Students will work with Adobe Premiere for video editing and Adobe After Effects to apply animations and visual effects to their video projects.
