Course Description

This course is designed for the business researcher or professional to help him/ her make choices about handling the most important business variables and methods of studying them. HRM and business research designs usually take the form of statistical research, survey research, case studies, experimental research or meta–analysis. The course examines specific issues relating to business research projects in terms of formulating research questions, collection of data analysis and making recommendations. The course examines both quantitative and qualitative research and considers a multi-method approach as a more balanced way to achieve a pragmatic research methodology that can ultimately be useful for the business practitioner. The students will be also introduced to emerging topics such big data and analytics.
