Course Description
1500-1725/ or MPT/or MTT101 with minimum grade of C for all Engineering majors, except Architecture, Aviation, Interior Dsign and IT. This is a single variable calculus course. Its purpose is to establish a firm understanding of the foundations of calculus and its applications in real world problems. Students will be introduced to the concepts of limits, continuity, derivatives, anti-derivatives, and definite integrals. Students will also be exposed to applications such as curve sketching, optimization problems, area and volumes.
