Course Description

This course provides the current perspectives on issues related to the legal and theoretical principles of special education and related services provided for the students with learning disabilities, curriculum adaptation and universal design to serve students with mild disabilities. Selected topics are explored through readings and discussion, and research. The students are expected to cover issues like inclusion education, accountability, diversity, recent and advanced programs and practices associated with learning disabilities from equity and education for all perspectives SPEDU521 Seminar in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
