Events have always played an important role in human society. Whether they are personal celebrations, festivals, carnivals, corporate gatherings, trainings and workshops, people have always been organizing and attending events. In addition, the event management industry has indeed become one of the business growth success stories of our decade. All events are dynamic and challenging. As a result, they require expertise in several business disciplines, together with an understanding of the social and cultural impacts on stakeholders. This course will introduce students to the emerging field of event management and will highlight the dynamic and challenging nature of event management.
