Kamran Arshad

Prof. Kamran Arshad serves as Dean of Research and Graduate Studies and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Ajman University, UAE, bringing over 18 years of academic and research experience. Previously, he held the position of Senior Lecturer and Program Director at the University of Greenwich in the UK. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. His research interests encompass cognitive radio, LTE/LTE-Advanced, 5G systems, and cognitive Machine-to-Machine communications. He has authored 140+ peer-reviewed technical papers and earned three best paper awards. He holds a PhD from Middlesex University, an MSc from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and a BEng with distinction from NED University.
